An apple that defies gravity and walks a tightrope — what would Isaac Newton have thought? Build a cute apple robot that walks along a tightrope. How? Thanks to the robot’s main component, a motorized gyroscope, it can maintain its balance and perform this fun trick without falling over.

Through five experiments, you can discover the astonishing powers of the motorized gyroscope and explore the physics behind its amazing behaviors. Experiment with getting the gyrobot to walk on the different included tracks and on a string, investigate the gyrobot’s center of gravity, play a ring-toss game, and watch the gyrobot spin on a flat surface

Through 8 experiments, you can explore the astonishing powers of the motorised gyroscope and understand the physics behind its amazing behaviours. Experiment with getting the robot to walk on different surfaces: a tightrope, on a solid tabletop, on a soft surface, and even on your arm! You can also experiment with the balancing behaviour of the motorised gyroscope by itself, testing its ability to balance on its edge, on your finger, on a pole, and dangling from a string.

  • Build a one-of-a-kind apple robot that defies gravity!
  • Thanks to the robot’s main component, a motorized gyroscope, this special apple can walk along a tightrope without falling.
  • Explore the physics behind this scientific device through five unique experiments that investigate gravity.
  • The unique and functional design makes this an affordable, fun, and educational gift with high play value.
  • The kit includes parts to build the gyrobot and experimental setups, including a track to walk around.
  • By constructing the robot and performing the experiments with the motorised gyroscope unit, young engineers can learn about the science of gyroscopic devices and the indispensable role they play in our lives.
  • A full-colour, 8-page, illustrated experiment manual provides step-by-step assembly instructions and scientific explanations.

Missing part

Our grandson arrived today hoping to use his Newtons Apple that we gave him for Christmas. Unfortunately one positive battery plate is missing. I hope this can be replaced.

Newtons apple gyrobot

I bought two, one each for my grandsons, aged 13 and 11, both smart boys, different families, but together on Christmas Day. They built them and then placed on the string.Apparently it went for a very short time and then fell to the floor and fell apart. They did try again but lost interest quickly. My elder grandson was not very impressed. He said it was ok, trying not to hurt my feelings about spending money on something not very good. I have been disappointed for the boys, since I have bought some amazing Christmas gifts from you over lots of years and never had a negative gift before.

Poor Quality

Fiendishly difficult to assemble, far beyond the age range. Ultimately did not work effectively, giving little gyroscopic effect. Only took one fall to dislodge the casing.

Bright Minds sell good products.

I have brought products from Bright Minds for my grandchildren before and although my grandson has this gift to come at Christmas I am sure he will be absorbed in finding how it works. Full marks BM.

Christmas present

He hasn’t received his present yet but I am sure he will enjoy it, with the help of his father. For many years I bought Galt toys and when I saw Bright Minds had them I knew the quality of the toys would be excellent
