Designed by a scientist and mum of two, GeoSafari Jr. My First Microscope is a working kids’ microscope for pre-schoolers. This fully functioning beginner microscope is a real working science tool with two extra-large eyepieces and a chunky, child-sized focusing knob.

GeoSafari Jr. My First Microscope is ideal for investigating paper, cloth, plants, hair or paper. Easy-to-use, it features two large eyepieces, eliminating the need to close one eye, and an LED light to enhance the clarity of the image. All the images appear right-side up and left-right correct for easy understanding.

A little disappointed, magnification isn’t as strong as i was expecting and my niece got a little bored of it.

I bought this for my granddaughter's third birthday and it was an instant hit. Very sturdy and easy to use, and she was examining shell's, leaves and her fingers within minutes. A great introduction to science.

I was excited for my daughter to receive this, as she loves playing with a cheap (£6) pocket microscope i have. Unfortunately this is nothing more than a blurry plastic magnifying glass in a stand. She was extremely disappointed with it and in her words "But i can see it better through my eyes". Returned and refunded without problem apart from the postage cost. It does have an LED too which only adds to the waste when it will soon be landfill.
