Both very happily spent all Christmas Day making various fun science stuff. A really good kit - fun and educational.
This kit is well designed and constructed. My 6 year old grandson understood how to use it pretty quickly for simple circuits. He is too young to grasp the use of the sound generator module with its 5 terminals, so I knocked up a crude 2-terminal buzzer module for him to use instead. The most exciting thing for him was to connect up the motor with both battery modules, and then just place the propeller lightly on the end of the shaft. It ran faster and faster and then lifted off and shot up to the ceiling.
