Due to the ease of construction, students are quickly rewarded and if the circuit does not work first time, it is easy to rebuild it.
For younger children, the brightly coloured parts makes it very easy to identify what goes where. The manual uses both block diagrams and circuit symbols, so students soon learn how to understand and interpret circuit diagrams.

Not impressed at all, part stoped working after few days
I bought this product for my seven year old grandson. He has enjoyed playing with it and quickly mastered all the possible circuit combinations. Having done that several times, I am doubtful as to whether he will continue to find interest or mental stimulus in the Brainbox 100 for much longer. Perhaps the product could be developed so as to offer more long-term challenges in the form of more complex circuitry and applications.Neil Montgomery.
Bought brainbox for my daughter, 7 last Christmas . It was a success ! I gives her so many ways to create new circuits! The book that comes with it is also very good, giving you all the instructions explaining WHY. We just LOVE it and I would highly recommend
I actually have no feedback as it was a present. Would it be possible to stop receiving emails from you please? thank you!
An educational Xmas gift yet to be opened but looks fantastic. Waiting for a spare moment to go through it with my son!
My grandson enjoyed playing with this straight after having unwrapped it.Big success! He is 8yrs old
The grandchildren love it and my Son says it is very good.
Henri loved this . kept him occupied through the post xmas rainy days. Quite a challenge for a 6 yr oldbut with minimal help he was able to build the circuit. loved being able to get thebulb & buzzer to work & how he could also control it with a switch.
A little more awkward to assemble than we thought it might be and before long the fuse blew which threw us a bit.A note of the exact rating of the fuse would be very useful.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 year old grandson who has Asbergers, he loves it, he gets board of games very quickly but this has kept him stimulated for hours.
It is a brilliant product. As a retired science teacher I was keen to have a go.Our 7 year old grandson loves it though he did progress quickly to the last circuit. He will with a little help get a lot from it. I used to teach much of this science to12 and 13 year olds
Easy to use and very helpful instructions.
A great success with both my grandsons, bought for one who is 7 but also being enjoyed by his brother who is 3, the older teaching the younger
I watched the child enthralled by creating the electrical circuitry and seeing the effects. it created huge understanding
